The new Leiden-Delft-Erasmus magazine (only in Dutch) is published. In it, you can find more information about the minor programme Frugal Innovation for Sustainable Global Development and the opening of the World Horti Center by Queen Máxima. Prof. Peter Knorringa, director of the Centre for Frugal Innovation in Africa (CFIA) was interviewed by Wouter Schutte for Sleutelstad Radio Leiden during the CFIA Conference in November 2017.
"It starts with a better understainding of local entrepreneurs in the informal sector of developing countries: how do they come up with solutions and how can we contribute to those solutions?", Knorringa says.
