At ICFI we investigate frugal innovation processes and their economic, social and environmental impacts.  Frugal innovation is an alternative perspective that can profoundly change the ideas of what innovation could be. In a world where the boundaries of conventional innovation strains against the looming spectres of climate change, overconsumption and exclusionary price points, transformative solutions are not just aspirational or desirable, they are necessary and urgent.
